About the Role
As Vice President of Sales & Event Operations, you will lead the development, delivery, and profitability of high-impact corporate events and group experiences. This executive-level position oversees a dynamic tripod team structure—Sales, Client Success, and Event Production—ensuring flawless execution and strong client retention. This is a dual-role leadership opportunity ideal for someone equally skilled in strategic sales and operational oversight.
Candidates with a proven book of business or high-value client relationships will be prioritized. Compensation, onboarding, and potential equity can be customized for candidates with existing revenue potential.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Drive top-line revenue goals through new client acquisition and expansion of key accounts
- Lead, mentor, and scale a sales team to target corporate, incentive, and enterprise event clients
- Cultivate long-term relationships with decision-makers across Fortune 500 and global brands
- Own proposal strategy, pitch execution, pricing, and margin planning
- Must be adaptable and willing to learn and adopt new CRM and project management tools
- Leverage personal book of business to generate early wins and strengthen company positioning
Tripod Team Oversight

Lead and align the three core pillars of delivery:
- Sales Executives / Business Development – Pipeline development, proposals, RFPs
- Client Success Managers – Service delivery, retention, client experience
- Event Producers / Logistics Managers – Program execution, vendor management, on-site delivery
- Ensure transparency and accountability across all departments through shared processes and milestones
- Drive collaboration and unified workflows that scale with program volume
Operational Oversight
- Oversee multi-day programs ranging from $250K to $2M+ in budget
- Standardize workflows, production calendars, and post-event reporting
- Lead pre-sale to post-sale transitions to ensure clarity on deliverables, scope, and timelines
- Optimize resource planning, vendor usage, and cost controls to maximize margin
- Troubleshoot complex logistics challenges with speed, precision, and calm leadership
Executive Collaboration

Work closely with:
- COO on resourcing, scheduling, and vendor contract negotiations
- CXO to uphold guest experience standards across all client-facing programs
- VP of Marketing & Strategic Growth on sales enablement, storytelling, and case study creation
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning, pricing models, and service development
Who You Are
- 10+ years of leadership in DMC, corporate events, experiential marketing, or hospitality
- Proven track record overseeing both sales teams and live event delivery
- Deep knowledge of the Las Vegas venue, hospitality, and entertainment ecosystem
- High-level communicator and negotiator, comfortable interfacing with C-level stakeholders
- Brings a verified book of business and/or deep relationships with event buyers
- Experience with CRM systems; must be adaptable and open to learning new platforms
- CMP, CSEP, DMCP, or related certifications a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Starting at $200,000 (Full-Time)
